CHAPMAN ENTERTAINMENT LAUNCHES NEW REFRESHED
FIFI AND THE FLOWERTOTS WEBSITE
Chapman Entertainment launches a new Fifi and the Flowertots website today with full CMS (content management system) capabilities to ensure an updated, consumer friendly site that focuses on all of the best elements from the popular TV series which appears daily on Five’s Milkshake! and Nick Jr.
Since its initial launch in 2005, the Fifi and the Flowerots website has gone from strength to strength, achieving over 1.3 million visits and 11.3 million page views internationally in the last six months, with an average of 200,000 visits per month. In the UK alone, Chapman Entertainment has seen over 400,000 visits in the same period, with ‘Fun and Games’ followed by ‘Meet The Flowertots’ being the favourite sections of the site.
The new website will feature monthly episodes and clips from the show, as well as provide a safe environment for children to play interactive games - such as the new addition of ‘Fifi’s Flying Flower Petals’ - watch videos, sing songs and print colouring and activity sheets.
For parents, the new and improved site will provide frequently updated information on Fifi events and promotions, competitions and TV schedule information, as well as regular newsletters for everyone who signs up. New registrants will receive a 10% discount voucher on the Fifi and the Flowertots shop, which has also been refreshed to tie in with the new changes.
Chloe Grant, Project and Design Manager, Chapman Entertainment comments: “These new changes give the site a contemporary, fun and fresh feel which will appeal to our pre-school audience, as well as parents. The site has been simplified with this market in mind and it allows our brand to hold a dialogue with our audience and create fun and interactive content for our users on an ongoing basis.”
Chapman Entertainment worked with Bionic Communications to build the website. “By using a standardised language for the information transfer between the CMS and the Flash site itself, the site is future proofed to allow for the development of new applications. These can then be plugged directly into the site and instantly communicate with all existing content. This is essential to ensure that the Fifi site is capable of growing and taking advantage of new communication technologies,” said Paul Walker, Managing Director.
The website - based on the new refreshed packaging design - will give licensees a place to showcase their products. International roll out of the new Fifi and the Flowertots site will take place in coming months focusing on territories including the USA, Canada, Australia, France, Benelux, Poland, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia.
